Design and Build Quality

Starting off with the Bose headphones, there is one thing you have to know and that is they have an amazing build quality. The headphones look sleek and classy especially the citron green color headphone.

Bose SoundSport

The earbuds are slightly larger and even with that, the fit is pretty good. Bose has a really nice quality and the headphones are pretty durable as well.

The BeatsX, on the other hand, are simple headphones with smaller earbuds. The design of these headphones is pretty simple and you basically can say that it is more or less just the typical Bluetooth headphones design.

 BeatsX

BeatsX does have an amazing headphone in the Matte Gold color which looks beautiful. If you want your headphones to look classy AF then you should definitely go with this color of the headphones.

Sound Quality

The Sound quality on the Bose headphones is amazing and it is pretty obvious as Bose headphones are known for their amazing sound app and the overall sound quality.

The bass on these headphones is the best and with the clear crisp audio quality, you would not be disappointed if you are an audiophile.

The BeatsX headphones do have a good sound quality but do not expect the bass to be as good as the Bose headphones. The Bose headphones are the best when it comes to sound quality and the Bose is good but not as good as the Bose soundsport headphones.

If you totally want a Sports Bluetoothooth headphones with an excellent sound quality then you should blindly choose the Bose soundsport headphones, however, if other features matter in your case then you should continue reading the review.

Comfort

The Bose headphones come with different sizes of ear tips and fin tips, once you find the perfect combination for yourself the headphones are going to fit really well. The earbuds are going to stay and you do not need to worry about them falling out every 5 minutes.

The BeatsX is actually more comfortable than I had expected since I was not a fan of the U flex band(which is pretty thin and flexible) that comes along with it.

The Beats X headphones have the magnetic earbuds which means while you are not using the headphones, the earbuds would just strongly stick to each other giving you better wire management.

Durability

These BeatsX have no clear IPX rating specified, however, they can handle sweat but it really does make it difficult to say anything about the longevity of the product.

Most of the users are pretty satisfied with the product and have not stated any major complaints.

The Bose Soundsport headphones are sweat and weather resistant which means you can use them in any weather condition.

These headphones can handle splashes of water without getting spoiled, however, you might want to be a bit careful as you cannot completely submerge both the headphones in water. Therefore, the headphones are not the best when it comes to swimming.

The headphones do come with a dust bag, so you can easily store them when they are not in use. Something that is really important about the headphones is the maintenance. I have lost quite a few headphones because of the loosening of the wires near the earbuds resulting in loss of sound from the earbuds.

In order to avoid this from happening, take some time to keep them back in the dust bag once you are done using them.

Battery Life

BeatsX has an 8-hour battery life as well and this headphone too can give you a 2-hour playback with just 5-minute charge.

The BeatsX uses the lightning cable in order to get charged and this means you can easily charge it anywhere or even use your iPhone charger.

The Bose Soundsport, on the other hand, lasts for 6 hours and that is all. The battery life on the Bose headphones is the only thing that you can consider as a drawback as it would not last you more than 6 hours.

If you plan on using them after workout sessions or maybe travel with them, then you have to carry around the charger for your Bose Soundsport headphones.

Conclusion

Overall, the BeatsX is great in comfort, battery life and comes with a good sound quality but the Bose Soundsport headphones cannot go unnoticed as they have amazing sound quality, durability, comfort, and design.

Both the headphones are pretty good and if you are going for an under $100 headphones then you might go with the BeatsX but if you are okay to spend a bit more money then you should definitely invest in the Bose Soundsport headphones as they are amazing.

I do agree that the battery life is just 6 hours but that kind of gets compensated with the other features of this Bluetooth headphones. Do check out both the headphones and let us know what you think in the comments down below!
