Beoplay headphones are similar to the Jaybird Run and Jabra Elite which means that they are completely wireless. There are a few sports headphones released that are completely wireless and Beoplay E8 is one among them.
These headphones are pretty similar to the Jabra Elite wireless but are they as good as most of these wireless headphones that are constantly raved about by most of the people?
Well, these headphones might have an advantage of being wireless but are they really good for extensive workout sessions? Keep on reading as we discuss most of the features of these headphones in detail.
Design and Build Quality
Something that is really nice about the Beoplay E8 is their amazing design. These wireless headphones are sleek and they have an amazing design which does not make the earbuds stick out of the ear like the Bose Soundsport FREE, making it fit beautifully in the ears without looking tacky.
The build quality of these headphones looks and feels amazing. You can definitely feel that these headphones are the high-end, high-quality wireless Bluetooth headphones when you see them. The headphones feel great and are amazing when it comes to the feel and comfort.
The overall design and build quality is definitely great and if you are looking for something that looks sleek and has a build quality that would last you forever then the Beoplay E8 is a good choice.
Sound Quality
The sound quality on the Beoplay E8 is not that great, I found it pretty average. Something that is common in most of these cord-free wireless headphones is that they have an average sound quality, nothing prominent.
Although, the Beoplay E8 headphones do have a better sound quality in comparison to the other cord-free headphones we have reviewed. You can adjust the noise cancellation on the earbuds in order to hear the audio from the surroundings.
The earbuds are intuitive and can be controlled with a touch or several taps which makes them user-friendly. The wireless earbud is perfect for workouts as they have a great connectivity and with the firmware update, you would find that both the earpieces work perfectly.
Overall, the sound quality on the E8 earbuds are pretty good in comparison to most of the cord free earbuds and I’m impressed with it.
Comfort
The earbuds come with 5 different ear tips and you can choose the right ear tip that fits you well. The earbuds are really comfortable and they look like expensive premium quality headphones.
You can even take them to work as they definitely sport the classy look which we do not see in many sports Bluetooth headphones. The headphones would stay in your ears while working out and they do not tend to stick out like the Bose Soundport Free.
Being wireless is one of the major advantages of these headphones and you are going to love that feature, especially while workouts. This instantly makes these earbuds one of my favorites with a single downside and that being that they are a little on the expensive side.
Durability
The headphones do not claim that they are waterproof anywhere but they are sweatproof and waterproof. Although we did not test by dropping them in a bucket of water they can definitely handle a few splashes of water.
The headphones can definitely last really long with you if you take minimum care. They actually have got almost every feature right which includes, the amazing charging case along with the good build quality of the headphones.
Battery Life
The battery life on these headphones can last up to 12 hours which includes 4 hours of battery life on the earbuds and the rest of the 8 hours of battery life comes from the charging case.
This is a pretty average battery life and usually, the cord-free headphones have battery life in the given range. This battery life is decent enough to last a workout session along with some leftover time to listen to music.
The headphones are pretty amazing and looking at all the features, I think the battery life could have been better but it is not bad considering that you get a charging case which really helps you extend the battery life by charging your earbuds on the go.
This means you can take the headphones for a trip or travel with them as they do have a long lasting battery life. I plan on using them while doing my work as well since they are really easy to charge.
Conclusion
The Beoplay E8 headphones are perfect if you are looking for something that you can use on a daily basis for your workout session and maybe after a while using it at work. This Bluetooth headphone is super comfortable, easy to wear and looks sleek and classy.
One of the best things about the headphones is that they have an excellent connectivity which means that they are not going to give you any interruptions and you can enjoy your music while working out without any cuts and weird noises.
The headphones are a bit expensive but you are getting what you pay for, so if you have the money then you should definitely invest in getting these. These are completely wireless and are going to give you a nice hassle free wireless experience.
This makes it really easy to attend calls on these headphones. The battery life, however, is just 4 hours which can be increased with the charging case that comes with it extending it to 12 hours.
