B&O Beoplay H5 Wireless Headphones Review
B&O Beoplay H5
Bang & Olufsen is one of the premium quality headphones that we have out there. It is one of the premium sports Bluetooth headphones and it is pricey, like way too pricey. Are these B&O H5 headphones worth all the money? Read the detailed review to know more about these headphones.
Design and Build Quality
These are Bang and Olufsen headphones, they have to be of premium quality, duh. Honestly, the headphones look gorgeous and if you once hold these headphones, I’m pretty sure there is no going back. It is one of the best-looking sports headphones and it is available in different colors.
I really liked the look of a few of the colors and the one in pink looks amazing as well. The headphones have some really great built quality and it looks like an expensive headphone.
The Bang & Olufsen headphones are one of the amazing to look at and if you are a person who is interested in getting headphones that really stands out in the crowd then you should consider getting these headphones.
The headphones are supposed to give you an immersive sound experience but honestly, they have an average sound quality and nothing that great.
The sound quality is somewhat close to the Bose headphones but not as good so if you are looking for something that has an excellent sound quality then you might want to look at the other great sound quality headphones in competition to compare.
The sound quality is pretty decent and if you are not an audiophile and want to just have the B&O looks and brand tag then you can go ahead with these headphones.
However, if you are looking for all the intricate sound details then you must look at the Bose sports headphones and the Jaybird X3 headphones that are out there with the best sound quality.
The headphones come with an inline mic which can help you control the order in which the songs are played in the headphones and even lets you take calls while working out. So the headphones do have all the basic features that you will need.
The headphones are sweat and dust resistant and once you spend that amount on a headphone, you do expect it to last long, LOL.
You do need to maintain the headphones since they are pretty sensitive and since it comes with a nice pouch, you can always store them inside it.
These headphones can last you long if you maintain them and take proper care. As such there are not many complaints about the durability of the product hence it is safe to say that they do last long without any damages.
However, make sure that when you get the headphones they are not damaged since most of the times that is the reason why the headphones get spoiled faster.
The headphones are comfortable and they tend to stay in place without falling off from time to time. Another feature that makes these headphones really comfortable are the magnetic holder that comes with the earbuds.
So when you are not using the headphones you can just clip the earbuds together and viola, you can continue your workout without worrying about setting aside your headphones.
This feature comes handy more often than one would expect and that is the reason these headphones are very comfortable to wear and workout with.
The headphones also come with different sizes of earbuds so you can decide which one fits you the best. These headphones are extremely comfortable just that the cord can get a little annoying sometimes but that can be ignored.
Most of the other users found the headphones pretty good when it came to comfort level and this is one feature where the headphones are at its best.
B&O definitely could have done better with the battery life of their Bluetooth headphones. I constantly feel that this is the only aspect which could have been better with the headphones.
The battery life is very average which is around 5 hours and with other headphones, you can pretty easily get a sports Bluetooth headphone with the same sound quality and a battery life of 11 hours for a lot less.
The battery life is a bummer on these headphones since I was expecting it to be a lot better than what it had to offer.
Although the other features on the headphones are pretty good and the headphones look amazing as well but the battery life is just average and I hope they come out with another headphone in the same series with a longer battery life.
The Bang & Olufsen headphones are pricey but they are also really sleek and stylish looking headphones that we have out there. These headphones have good looks, good sound quality and are pretty comfortable to wear during your workout sessions.
The headphones are a good investment for someone who is more into the looks of the headphones and want their headphones to look unique and expensive. If you just care about the features and the sound quality of the headphones then you should check out headphones like the Bose and the Jaybird X2.
