Design and Build Quality
Both the Bose SoundSport headphones have pretty similar designs, although the Soundsport Pulse is slightly heavier than the Bose Sounsport headphones. The Pulse comes with an HRM and that is something different from the Bose Soundsport headphones.
The HRM can help you track your heartbeat, during and after your workout sessions. This helps you keep your health in check, something that is a growing trend these days. If you were looking out for a headphone with HRM, then the Bose SoundSport should definitely be on your list.
The Bose Soundsport headphones come in different colors and when it comes to which one is better in terms of design, I would say both of them are equally good and pretty much similar.
The Sound quality on Bose headphones is amazing and there is probably no way you can compare it with any lower budget headphones. The sound can even be optimized according to your liking with the dedicated app.
The sound quality on the SoundSport Pulse to be specific is amazing as compared to other headphones that have HRM. Being the best in the lot, these Bose headphones have a good sound seal along with a great sound quality.
You have plenty of different modes which you can select to tweak the sound quality and bass according to your needs in the song that is being played. It has a nice soft sound with very little to no distortion. You can always wear the headphones accordingly and secure the seal according to your requirements.
However, in comparison to the SoundSport headphones, the Pulse might fall short a bit, although I personally feel that is would take a lot of attention to notice the difference. Both the headphones ALMOST have the same quality but when it comes to choosing one over the other, I would choose the Bose SoundSport headphones.
Both these headphones are sweat and water resistant. They would last you long even though most of the time they would be just tossing around in your gym bag. You can wear these headphones in any weather regardless of the heat, rain or sweat because of the hydrophobic quality of the headphones.

You can take up calls on these headphones and the remote that is there in the cable connecting the buds makes it easier to operate the remote while wearing them. The earbuds are quite durable and they can last really long making it a pretty good investment.
When it comes to durability, both the headphones are good and I think there is not much difference so it is a tie.
Both the headphones have the same design and almost the same size so the comfort level on both of them is going to be the same. The major differences between the two headphones have to be their features as that is where both the headphones differ. When it comes to looks, comfort and durability both of the headphones are similar.
There are different fin tip sizes that come with the headphones and you can choose among both of them. When it comes to connectivity, I found that these Bose headphones are pretty good at that you can hear the voice clearly if you are on a call, on one of these headphones.
Both the headphones have larger earbuds that the usually sports Bluetooth headphones, so you might want to make sure that they fit properly before you start a vigorous exercise session that involves a lot of movements. Once you have found the perfect ear tip combination for your ear, your comfort is sorted out for the gym session.
The Bose Sounsport Pulse lasts for about 5 hours and a 15-minute charging can give you an additional 1-hour charge.
The 5-hour battery life is not bad when you look at the fact that apart from just playing music, it does monitor your heart rate. It has a pretty decent battery life, although when you are not using it, it is better to switch it off to save the battery life.
The Bose Soundsport headphones can last for around 6 hours which is not bad and it is definitely better than the Pulse edition of these headphones which lasted for about 5 hours. The headphones charge pretty quickly which an added advantage to these headphones.
These headphones come with a USB charger which can be used to charge the headphones. The charging on these headphones can last pretty long. The headphones have an above average battery life. The headphones are amazing but the battery life is pretty average.
Both the headphones are almost identical the only major difference being that the Pulse comes with an HRM built in the headphones and the Pulse has a battery life of 5 hours in comparison to the SoundSport headphones that has a 6-hour battery life.
The headphones are both great for workout sessions and in the case you want more from the headphones, you can easily pick one according to the features that suit you the best. Which ones do you like more, let us know your thoughts in the comments down below!
